Is it time to ring the changes?

Not sure what effect changing captin would have. Don't even see another candidate either.

Something isn't working on the field - as a captain you need to lead from the front - most on here are saying the captain is not the player he was. Maybe it time to take some pressure of him and let another of these pampered professionals take the strain?

Even if there was a change in captin ie sinfield being out injured it would probably fall to peacock who personally isn't a great captin.

If you want someone to lead by example JJB seems capable of stringing a sentence together and always put the effort in and will stick his hand up for the dirty work

So he can still be captain and play every week regardless of how well he plays? There was a thread on here blaming the coach because the captain decided a short kick off was the thing to do with 45 seconds left in the first half against Wigan!! Miopic is an understatement.

I don't think Sol P's anti-Sinfield agenda will ever be sated until Kev is retired and Danny is captain. There's no logic to it (of course), and Sinfield being captain has nothing directly to do with the present malaise.

We are setting the Captain up for poor defensive efforts by letting him defend out wide ,too flat footed and not good enough out there.
As far as captaincy goes for it will always be Sinfield but saying that he needs to be back at 13 and defending back in the middle.

How could you possibly know that for sure?

The current captain is praised for his direct role when things are going well, so when things aren't going well, why do you then assume is it nothing directly to do with him?

If BMc took the captaincy from him, in the present climate, I would expect him to be lynched the minute his tyres touched the roadside at St Michaels Lane! It will never happen while hes still playing, hes the lynchpin of the team, for every poor game or decision Kev has or makes the outstanding games and correct decisions far outway the former.

There are definately other players who need to question whether they are worthy of wearing the shirt at the mo and Kevin is firmly at the back of that queue!

Make McGuire captain for the games against Cas, Salford, Widnes and London. He should be a real leader in those games and that should satisfy Sal's urges.
