The only thing Smith seems to do better than BJB is manage to stay on the field when near the touchline. Other than that, no contest.

Smiths form has improved of late but I'm not a fan of smith playing outside ablett, we have no pace, bish is a far better weapon to use on the wing

Smith was getting some form back in the middle, but was awful on the wing. BJB is too skinny and pathetic on the wing and is awful under the high ball.

No, but he is better full back than BW at the moment. FB is his best position, and if he played there regularly he would be a far better and consistent player.

Hate to say it but Smith has gone from being a potential 'great' to a potential disaster in the space of just a few short months. Never blessed with blistering pace, but now looks to have lost most of his pace and decisiveness. Definitely not fast enough for the wing and I'm not convinced he's even good enough at centre any more at the top level.
