| Was last night the best ever result in SL or even before SL
50 points away at the champions with nearly a full pack out
Don't get me wrong I don't mean best performance as I believe
The cricket team would have given Wigan a tougher game last night

| There have so far been a total of 2,784 SL Regular Round matches played so that's a rather large sample to consider even if the question was limited to this latest era for the sport.
Without having any particular recollections of the actual games there have been two other occassions when the reigning SL Champions have conceded 50 points in a home regular round fixture:
1 - 26th May 1997, St Helens 12 Wigan 65
2 - 16th August 2002, Bradford 22 St Helens 50
After last night we can now make that three.

| Wigan's structure is far superior to ours. Their young lads in the pack stood up ok and Tomkins and O'Loughlin and co did the rest. That has been coming off one of the top teams all season, fair play to Wigan for doing it.
