If Mcguire and Burrow don't make it then i'd try Mcshane at 7 and Hood at 9 or vice versa they've both played enough game-time at 7 in u20's to understand the role and i think Ward would have more impact at 13.
I'd also then Bring Roche onto the bench.
I don't see it as panic measures or too harsh on those dropped i think it's time 1 or 2 got the message that their shirts are'nt a given.

I have put Watkins in Backrow as we need IMO a backrow that as mobility. The likes of Clarkson have no go forward and the policy of having 5 props in the 17 does not work.

FH-Re Keinhorst i don't think he's ready mate still very raw and it could set him back imo IF we had a Champioship 2 club in the CC then i'd say give him a go but not yet at this level.

It highlights the lack of cover that we have in positions. We seriously need to get some mobility and go forward in the pack. By trying to do that I have highlighted the fact that we don't have suitable cover in the backs. IMO although our first choice 17 is one of the strongest around, our squad in very shallow and unbalanced at the moment.

Not really a lot of our "depth" comes from the versatillity within the squad E.G Delaney and Ablett are more than capable to cover Centre i even think Smith is aswell but he's "off" the pace and not confident at the moment imo.
What we do have is too many players off form at once and we look very flat with the ball i would also like to see Brian Mc get tougher with some and show that players like Singleton and Chisolm deserve a chance.

It's interesting that all the young players mentioned ie Singleton, hood and chisholm are all in the u20's today against the bulls, are they expected to back up with 1 less day than the rest, or does this tell us the squad will be the same come monday?

RR It's only opinions i would of put Singletion in last night ahead of kirke and had Hood on the bench instead of Smith.

Delaney and Ablett can cover at centre, however if they have to cover at centre who's going to cover for them? How long can Smith be "off" the pace, before that becomes his normal pace. I hope Smithy does snap out of his slump.

We have a few injuries and a few off form it soon adds up mate i also would not of released Pitts.
Write down your 1st choice 17 then take 3 KEY AND BEST out due to injuries then add 4/5 or even more off form plus 1 released then another 3 1st team squad men injured it soon adds up.
Tough times at the minute mate we've had worse it's a case of digging in and come back stronger hopefully.

Couldn't agree more. I think Ward at loose would give us alot more creation and some quality ball to the backs, Hood should start on monday with singleton and maybe D Smith, but i am worried they are playing today therefore not be available on monday.

one thing for certain, Smith should be nowhere near the 17. The only thing that could keep him in is that he can be mediocre or worse in 4 positions.
If Kirke is stealing a jersey then Smith is commiting armed robbery.
