As luck would have it I am in the south of France in August when the Rhinos are in town and plan a jaunt to Perpignan for the match.
Can anyone tell me is there any parking near the stadium ? or am I better parking at my hotel near the centre of town and getting a taxi.

Book a transfer on one of the Catalan Sports Tour coaches. They leave from the town centre and it's a good reliable service.

Why not ask each week on a clubs forum of their experiences when they have just played them?Or go on Les Cats board if you can find a geniune resident cats fan

Bernard, if you are staying in Perpignan then you may as well leave the car near the hotel. Theres a load of shuttle buses and service buses that go to the ground. Also its walkable, will take about 30 minutes.

^ Dump the car in the centre and walk to the ground.

Pleanty of bars on the way and a house of ill repute, if you know where to look.

The ladies are also gentle if you are new too

Only problem is the wife and three kids in tow...not sure a house of ill repute is on the agenda unless I can lose them for a while.

we walked from city centre,about 40 mins. Missed the house of ill repute unfortunately. Big Indian restaurant by the bridge over the river, called in on the way back for a feed

The Fawlty Towers of French Indian restaurants. Or it was in 2005 when we had our terrible/hilarious experience there. I hope it's under new ownership.

Also, what's this about a house of ill repute? Disgusting. I've never seen it in several visits. If someone could send me the details I will ensure that I avoid it at all costs on future visits.

As for parking by the ground - I wouldn't. Not the nicest of areas round there. Always grateful to see all four wheels still attached on the occasions that I have done.

You'd be better off hiring a car and nipping over the border to Spain. By sheer coincidence, right near where all the trucks stop before heading into France, there are several brothels Talk about good fortune!
