It's alright, nowt flash. You'll be best off standing in the pop stand at the front, that way your view won't be obstructed by the dugouts and you'll save yourself £2. If I get my chair fixed I might even be there myself.

Is the bar any good? Or any decent boozers in the vicinity?

The stadium bar is alright, nowt flash. Limited to 300 capacity too. Not much in the vicinity, the Huntington social club is about a mile away though, thats alright too.

Not too sure if we are going to this one . Been a few times . The extra two quid they charge for a seat for disabled persons isn't a good idea . They don't mention it when you book your ticket . They tell you when you are through the turnstyles . Oh ! And when they throw bovril over you they offer no medical assistance at all , they just point you in the direction of the toilets at the other end of the stand and tell you there is a cold tap in there .
We once booked .Went in and found some seats that had 'reserved' stickers on them . We sat in them . Bluey and Co. were very good about it . They sat in the seats behind us

We had a great running commentary all match .

Advice if you are needing disabled parking is get there very early . We have never been able to park in the disabled bays .

This isn't your fancy-dan razzmatazz Super Dooper League now you know... This is proper Rugby League.

Enjoy it while you can anyway, before the council build a new ground on ours, take away all our match-day income streams and charge us three times the rent for the privilege.

Do they have any definite plans for building a new ground there ? I don't think the ground itself is that bad , I wish I could say the same about the staff I have encountered . Only thing I can really find fault with is the distance between the stands and the pitch . As it always seems to be snowing or foggy when I go there , and it is usually also night time , a lot of the action on the pitch is missed . I have even seen points awarded , put on the scoreboard , then removed because people are unsure what is happening on the pitch .

There will be an announcment in the next couple of months about a new ground, the football and rugby are sharing it, but dont hold your breath.

Tell them that if they must have athletics facilities to make the running track go around the outside of the stadium .

The athletics are moving to the sports village up at York Uni, so thats a start.

That is a very good idea . It will definitely help create a better atmosphere if the stadium shrinks when it loses the athletics facilities . With so few people attending the matches and them being so far away from the pitch the place seems empty even when they have a good turnout of supporters .

Lets just hope we can still afford to play there eh?
