Well guys just got my season ticket conformation for next year and by the looks of the invoice my seats that they have allocated me are totally pants so i am just hoping that come the 5 december i will be able to change them to closer to the halfway line

at the moment they have allocated me AP5 seats 18/20 which is down by the try line not good

was hoping for better tickets this will be my first year as a season ticket holder not grumbling too much was just hoping for a bit nearer the half way line so my kids could be closer to the tunnel to see the players as they run out on to the pitch

Did you not ask for a particular section of the stand?

I did yes but they told me that they would give me seats and once the cut off for current season ticket holder has passed for them to renew they would then allow you to change to better seats, But im not sure how it all works like i said this is my first season ticket for the Rhinos so im a bit lost on how the process works

I think it's just after Christmas when they know who (of the existing season ticket holders) have not renewed (or have moved to other seats) ... then you get your chance to move into their vacated seats.

I guess we just dropped lucky.

Sounds like the way in which most sports clubs operate. Basically they have given you a seat that is currently not held by a season ticket holder. The 2011 season ticket holders have first refusal on their current seat. After a certain date passes any unclaimed seats are then made available to all and sundry, however i think there is usually a grace period for current 2012 season ticket holders to get dibs on the newly available seats before they go onto the new season ticket buyers. As you've already got yours you'll get dibs
