| I don't know if anybody has noticed this or mentioned it but did anyone see some of the Saints players walking off down the tunnel at Old Trafford before Sir Kev had even got to the trophy. I noticed it on the night but couldn't make out which players it were, also when watching it back on Sky you can see players leaving about the time Delaney and Jones-Bishop were picking up their medals. I have no problem the Saints fans leaving as they pay their money they can do as they like but the players should be forced to stay on the pitch to applaudethe opposition lifting the trophy. As i mentioned i couldn't make out which player it were, but surley that worse than Bailey celebrating his team winning the Super League infront of HIS own fans.

| Sts lost for the 5th time in a row. They have seen their fill of the opposition lifting the trophy, and have no problem with them walking off early.

yea Harrigan a whole two weeks later, season finished no decent signings, no fixtures announced no new shirt to discuss and not overly bothered about the internationals, hope england win but wont be devestated if they don't

| I tend to agree with Brisbane here – After their 5 year run of ‘so nearly’s’ the last thing they’d want to see is Leeds picking the trophy and celebrating.
Can’t blame them in the slightest for wanting to get back in the changing room ASAP.
Anyway most of the Saints fans had left by that point and the Leeds players and 99.9% of the Leeds fans wouldn’t have/didn’t notice or even care.

| I don't blame them. If I was in their shoes watching Kev lift it once would be hard enough.

| To be fair the whole stadium was as dead as a dodo before we'd finished our lap of honour anyway!

| It won't have been Jammer as he's a stand up guy, won't have been Jon Wilkin as he was ranting about Ryan Bailey to the pitch side journalists and it won't have been Paul Wellens because he's so slow he was still appealing bitterly for an obstruction on Rob Burrow's first try when the lights got turned off.

| The losing side in finals often dont see the winning side hold the cup up. It happens in most sports and don't see any problem with this.
Saints shook the rhinos players hands, went up for their losers medals (again) , clapped the saints fans and left. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't see anything wrong with the Saints players wanting to make a speedy exit either, I think it's just the OP trying to make summat out of nowt.

| Wasn't a big issue for me, can't even remember them leaving early. As stated they all shook hands. Clapped them up for their losers medals, then didn't notice them
