I'm not sure this has been mentioned yet, but it occurred to me when I watched back the BBC's coverage of the Grand Final win and the commentator said something like "they'll be talking about this Leeds Rhinos side and it's achievement for years to come"!
Just a thought entered my mind....how about Leeds Rhinos...BBC Sports Awards Team of the Year?

If anything Sir Kev should be up for the Sports Personality of the Year for the way hes conducted himself in the years for Leeds Rhinos and the Rugby League sport as a whole.

I can't understand why any rugby league fans would even bother to be interested in that complete and utter non event as far as the greatest game is concerned.

I'd rather any brief reference to league was removed entirely.

That said if they do the line up of cups again then the FA and Challenge Cup stand out as emblems of the past, the present and hopefully the future. Big up Fattorini and Sons.

RL wont get a mention except maybe a 2 seconds clip in some montage of the year let alone any team/player actually winning anything.

Also, whislt we have done well in knockout rugby this year we have been pretty dismall for most of the season. I really dont think we would be deserving of team of the year, even though we came from 5th to win the GF.

I'm sure you will get a mention somewhere. But lets face it, you don't deserve to win it.

You reached the final of the cup without really having to beat anyone and came 5th in the league. You then pulled a fantastic run of form together, but it hardly warrants team of the year status.

I'd like to see Sinfield getting a mention and perhaps a nomination for an individual award however.

It'd be nice for Sir Kevin to get shortlisted on the individual award, but I'm sure he won't.

As far as rugby league goes, saints deserve it by a country mile having to play kids for most of the season, tremendous achievement.

We are not going to win it yes we did brilliant at the end of the season that matters, and won the title, but we were not great all year. If we were ever going to win SPOY it would have been after the 3 in a row.

I'd rather not win it! I'm quite happy being that team who gets no credit for what it does and ends up having the last laugh!

No chance. Not even worthy. As has been said, we've won a couple of high profile games. Thats not Team of the year territory, thats just being champions.
