I think the clause also helps Wakey in that they won't have to pay a transfer fee.

Surely the best way to see him up close and what he can do for us as opposed to at Wakey would have been to let him have the pre season games here as McDermott said would happen and then either keep him or let him sign full time for Wakey.

This arrangement kind of gives the impression that we haven't made our minds up on him yet whilst going with the 'huge potential' of Moore instead for next season.

Peacock, Leuluai, Bailey, Moore, Ambler and Kirke. No team should have more than 6 SL ready Props, or there will be an unbalance in other areas of the squad.

The question is should Amor be at Leeds in front of any of the above. Given what I've seen of him (relatively little) then I would currently put him in front of Moore, Ambler and Kirke. I suspect the signing of Moore has backed Leeds into a corner over Amor, and this is the most creative way we could find out of that corner.

From what I have seen he is certainley ahead of Kirke and Ambler and possibly Moore.
Maybe Ambler to Wakey would have made more sense.
Unless of course we are going to sign another prop from Oz.

Leuluai retires after next season so maybe we are seeing if any better props become available and if not we will take the lad back

We already have a couple of better props in our reserve side.

we have Bailey, Peacock & Leuluai established, with Griffin likely coming in, and Moore as well. Plus Kirke who, whatever you think of him, will on saturday have been in 4 GF squads, and IMO fills a specific role for us very well.

Amor isn't yet ready to bust ahead of one of them. Another season at Wakefield and then, in all likelihood, back here, is a good deal.

id agree there , we have singleton and syron who havnt put a foot wrong all season, not foregetting singletons debute at the age of 18 and never even looked out of place,syron a litte older than singleton but huge potentual !both just need that break into the 1st 17.

Perhaps this is why Leeds have gone for the one year option - see how the kids develop and then decide who should get Kylies spot in the first team squad
