Lets get serious. We were not as well supported in eitehr the semi or final as we have been in the past. You cant blame fans, econimic issues and a poor side mean fewer people bothered.

Take the semi. It was a local derby and not too far for either lcub yet we only got 13k fans. Ive not looked for the figures but I bet there were more watching us play Saints a few years back.

Some Wigan fans will embelish the truth, but all clubs have fans like that.

Wigan have very good support and attendances.

You're right Damo, Wigans support is well overated. Couldn't fill a 13,000 stadium down the road for a challenge cup semi, couldn't fill a 25,000 capacity home stadium for the World club challenge (leeds highest 38,000, Leeds lowest 27,000, for the same game) and can't even fill the piedome for "the biggest derby in rugby league" versus saints. There was more at the wigan athletic v Q.P.R game on wembley saturday than at most wigan RL games. It's a football town.

The empty seats at the semi were in the saints ends.

The world club challenge tickets left over were being sold by the RFL, not wigan. The prices were also stupid.

We DID sell-out the piedome for our derby game. Did Leeds sell-out for theirs?

7,000 free tickets were given away for that QPR game.

The empty seats at the semi were amongst both sets of fans,
I bought my tickets from the RFL when we had 38,000 for our first world club challenge game, your fans could also buy them and didn't, therefore you didn't fill the piedome,
Your ground was a thousand below capacity for the St Helens game, therefore it's not a sellout,
Wigan is a football town, compare the football and rugby average attendances.

Are you a junior politician by any chance, you seem to manipulate the figures and make excuses very well.
