| It's all about their attitude and how good of a role model they are to kids to me. 3/4 years ago I would have not liked to see Graham in a Leeds shirt but for me, his attitude and temperament has improved greatly. The same, but to a lesser extent, is true with Westwood too however he can still be a dirty bloke at times. 100% agree with the Tomkin's brothers and like I said when 'boo-gate' was in full swing, I hope Sam can learn to be more mature and act responsibly on the pitch.

| James Graham!? I think he's quality. The only reason we "Booo" Graham is because he's clearly a class act. Dedicated to the game, dedicated to his club, and a winner.
I'd love to have Graham at Leeds. Although I fear he'd probably guffaw under the current circumstances.

See my post re: Graham. He's matured a lot too over the past few years IMO.

| I like James Graham a hell of a lot more than I like Ryan Bailey and one of them plays for Leeds and one doesn't.
This "I like them if they play for Leeds" lark is juvenile at best. Team shouldn't come into it.

| Team very much comes into it in many cases.
Sam Tomkins is a cocky little sod, but let's face it, if he was rubbish you wouldn't care. He annoys people because he's good. Would I like him if he played for Leeds? Yes. I think people get a bit carried away with the role model thing, it isn't as if Sam Tomkins has ever committed a serious misdemeanour is it?
So, who wouldn't I like if they played for Leeds? Michale Platt maybe. Because he's utter gash. And that would annoy me.

Are we talking "like" as in as a player? Or like as in, attitude, demeanor, and our general perception of them as people?

| I've always liked Graham as a player, even if he gets a bit frisky with the coffin dodgers, but Tomkins (S) is a little shizer. The kid has an unbelievable amount of talent but spoils it with his petulant, childish cheaty-cheat attitude.
Also:
Ryan McGoldrick
Billy Slater
Richard Moore

| I'm seriously regretting contributing to this thread.
McGoldrick & Tomkins (S) are a given.
As is Cockayne & Platt.
I'm a fan of : Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock, Rob Burrow, Danny Buderus, James Graham, Keiron Cunningham, Matt Gidley, Paul Wellens, Scott Moore, Elliott Whitehead, James Roby, Pat Richards, Paul Deacon, Brett Hodgson, Matt King. (Off the top of my head).
I'm not a fan of: Lee Smith, Brent Webb, Danny McGuire, Ryan Bailey, Lee Briers, Sam Tomkins, Ryan Atkins, Leon Pryce, Rangi Chase, Ryan McGoldrick, Sean Long, Michael Platt, Ben Cockayne, Danny Tickle. (Again, off the top of my head).

I've never met any of them "as people" so my lone concern is for their on-field activity.
If I found out Sam Tomkins was guilty of murder, rape or purchasing Hearsay records I'd change my mind. Until then he's just a rugby player. He's quite a good one too.
I'll allow spent convictions to go by. I can't be bothered disliking people for fighting with other big daft lads, provided it was a fair fight and both parties were up for it (not that I condone it as such, just that it doesn't seem like my business once the courts have dealt with it) or for making silly choices involving drugs.

| I'd hate Leon Pryce to sign for us.
It would be like when we signed Paul Harkin. I remember day well. I went out for my dinner break at work and bought the YEP. As always, turned straight to the back page, and had to stop myself shouting obscenities in the street. Little git.
Andy Gregory's signing also upset me me more than a little.

I started liking Edwards after his strop at Odsal in 1998. I can't remember who didn't pass to him when he would have been clean through against us, but the reaction was brilliant.

| I like Edwards now he doesn't play for Wigan, and let's be honest again, most people who weren't Wigan fans hated him, but 99% of them would have fookin loved him if he'd played for them. He was a dirty get, but he was a win-at-all-costs sort of player, and he did plenty of hard work to make sure he did a lot of winning.
The guy is a born winner, and I'd love to see him back in RL as a coach.

| Barrie McDermott was a thug who picked on kids. Also the best prop of his generation. I don't recall many Leeds fans booing him.

One of the dirtiest players of his generation.
Loved him.

Martin Offiah was a once-a-generation talent. Even when he played for Wigan I couldn't help getting some sense of enjoyment from watching him play.
I once got his autograph after a game, Edwards was there and got his pen ready and I just ignored him.
Kids are tw*ts sometimes.
Sorry Shaun!
Bet he cried for days.

| Silly argument. Wonder how many would want Bailey if not already a Leeds player.
Sam Tomkins, Lee Brierley, Ben Westwood ... Would have them all if they enhance the team's chances of winning.

| to many to name who I wouldn't want but Ben Westwood gives 100% and
Graham is a class prop and young Sam a golden talent even though he's from wigan and I admire most players just for playing the game. Yes I have rose tinted glasses, anyone who plays for the Rhinos I like and will support everytime even Ian Kirke.
