Burrow 7, Sinfield 13, McShane bench, Clarkson/Smith out.
Is Ali injured that Kirke & Clarkson are in ahead of him?

Can't really argue that we're not at full strength for this one.

| When both fit Weller seems well in front of Ali with the coaches selection.
I can safely presume this will be Ali's last year.
Who needs Columbo when I'm around.

| He seems a bit opinionated for me Mac. He either likes you or he doesn't. Cross, Burgess, Clarkson, McShane, Ali, Hardaker, Smith and Burrow don't seem to be the most popular on occasions. Whereas McGuire, Kirke and Hauraki he seems to always play.

I'd suggest that over the last 10+ matches Weller has played, since he had a stint in the reserves, his defence is much improved. Ali is good for impact, for 10 minutes per half, but tires very quickly and his defence is very questionable.

| I'd like us to go with:
Webb, BJB, Delaney, Watkins, Hall, McGuire, Burrow, Bailey, Buderus, Peacock, JJB, Ablett, Sinfield. Leuluai, McShane, Hauraki, Kirke.
But I think we'll go with:
Webb, Smith, Watkins, Ablett, Hall, Sinfield, McGuire, Leuluai, Buderus, Peacock, JJB, Delaney, Clarkson. Bailey, Burrow, Hauraki, Kirke.

Sadly, with McDermott's record this year, this is a possibility.

Not good either way then really: why would you actually 'like' us to go with Delaney at centre with Hauraki and especially Kirke in any capacity ?? The thought of Smith and Ablett in the threequarters is depressing too.

| For me it should be ALI instead of either Kirke or Hauraki. Ali is a potential ball playing match winner, especially coming off the bench, Hauraki only thinks he is!! and as for Kirke, he has been a big let down

| I have concerns with Watkins defence especially when playing centre. I did not see the Salford game but he has looked very suspect a number of times this season. It would be a brave call to play him there on Sunday IMO.

| If you didnt see the Salford game, I guess you'll have missed Watkins excellent one handed pick up, and double fend to set up our first, length of the field try last week then? I actually think that BJB looks as suspect as anyone under high bombs into the corners, so it's a little harsh to single out Watkins in that respect.

BJB and Watkins are far far too suspect to play.....I know ...let's play a couple of good forwards in the threequarters instead: Delaney and Ablett maybe.

I saw that on the SLS and Watkins looks great going forward. My point was that if BJB and Hall start on the wing that would leave Watkins at centre where he has looked very suspect this season.

| Personally, I think it's a little harsh on the both of them, because I think they both are capable of producing stuff that can get the team going forward when it's needed, but although I prefer to see Delaney being utilised in the second row, Ablett has been fairly good these last few weeks in the centres, so I guess therein lies a big decision for McDermott to make for Sunday.

Indeed. Hauraki, Delaney, Ablett and Kirke....now that's a threequarter line we can be proud of
