The half ends when the tackle is complete or the ball is dead, not when the hooter sounds. (unless the ball is already out of play)

Child is bad, but Leeds are worse. When defending we haven't won a single collision in that first half and as a result we can never get two men square at the ptb. With the ball we have no shape, no structure and therefore no chance, unless we can massively change our attack for the second half.

I wonder if BMD will be able to inspire the troops as usual at half time...

This game is screaming to McD and GH that we need a decent half back.

We have a decent halfback, he's suspended. We have a coach who has no idea how to use him.

I agree, we seem to have nothing in attack, unlike Catalan, with Dureau in even more shockingly Menzies, both currently are better than Sinfield and McGuire. Childs is just as much of a joke as well, refusing to talk to the captain.

The two scrums early in the 2nd half show the state we're in: We throw the ball out (badly) and no one has a clue what the move is. Catalans have a perfectly rehed move, that they execute perfectly, that gets them a try.
