Personally I think hall is a good size for a centre.

If Burrow went to Cas, surely Leeds would get Rangi Chase? I still think Leeds have two or three new signings to announce. There are plenty of rumours about a big announcement over the next week or two.

What about Burrow's testimonial?

If Hall is going to be at centre next season he should be given a go now to see if it suits him and the team.

Id rather have Dobson from KR.

I (and others) have mentioned before Hall having the potential to adapt to the centre position. You only have to look at Meli this season to see how it could pan out. Perhaps not many St Helens supporters were calling for that switch either.

I'd be more interested to see a centre/wing partnership of Hall/Watkins than Watkins/Hall.

Hall looks a perfect centre to me. He's not got electric pace for a winger, but at centre would be a bigger threat. You could then put one of your exciting wingers there.

Agree on Meli, it's transformed his performances for us this season.

Hall to second row would be a better shout. We'd find out if he could tackle then.

There's more to centre than being big. For me keep him at wing whilst he's performing well there. Its wing or second row for me. If they thought of him as having the potential for a centre one of the last 3 coaches would have tried him there a bit more often

Why would we want to take the best British winger off his wing? Some people are crazy...

Watkins wants right centre then? Should we sign another centre and BJB stays fit where does that leave Smith?

I see us lining up like this in the backs next year:

Webb, Hardaker, BJB, Watkins, Hall.

This leaves Smith as first reserve for 1-5 and then into the kids. If we sign anyone else then we will seriously hamper the development of those above and they need gametime in preferred positions now.

I don't see BJB as a centre. I think a centre has to come in and Hardakre will have to hang about for a season until Webb leaves and BJB goes to FB, which results in Hardakre on the wing.

That's the way I see it.

Hall isn't even the best British winger at Leeds let alone in the league.

What positions do all these players want to play, out of curiosity?

BJB - FB?
Watkins - wing?
Smith ????

Given the talent emerging and his form since returning from Union, I would get rid of Smith and replace with an experienced NRL centre with a few seasons left in him.

No doubt at least one of these players will be ear-marked to replace Webb in the long term, and should cover for him when he inevitably gets injured (or banned) in the future - BJB?

Leeds should try and persevere with Watkins at centre. Defence can be worked on, although other young SL centres seem to have similar problems in this area (e.g. Welham, Charnley etc).

That leaves Hardaker and Hall to play on the wing, unless Hardaker turns into a half-back at some stage.

BJB comes back from a 3 month layout and puts in an outstanding performance.
