| Pitts looks good.....drop him
McShane looks good ....drop him (as he reached the same heights since his return ?)
Burrow looks good - at long last....drop him to the bench (think it worked in instilling better confidence ??)
Clarkson looks good ....drop him
Hardaker looks good ....drop him (and play a plethora of forwards in the backs instead)
Burgess looks good .....drop him....and send him packing
Cross looks better (v.Cas) ....drop him....and send him packing.
God help the next improved performance from any individual

| I think Ian Kirke's first team place is assured with this policy in place.

| Have to say that I really don't understand some of the selections. However, to be fair to BMD, judging by some of his comments in the press some of his selections have been down to shall we say 'off-field' issues. Whilst he is the coach he has every right to drop players he thinks are taking the p*ss. And unfortunately he's not able to come right out and say that about anybody in particular until they are definitely gone like Burgess.

| Surely it is the coaches job to sort out the so called off field issues, as it is any managers job to deal with underperforming staff.
Dropping everyone who narks him off occasionally sorts out nothing.
Under performing staff is the responsibility of their manager. Sort them out or get sacked.

Surely if the players respected the coach, then this would not be happening on such a scale. Their will always be an odd player with disciplinary issues, but not so many.

Under performing staff is the responsibility first and foremost of those staff who are under performing.
If they can't (or won't) be brought up to speed then they need to be shown the door, otherwise everyone else will think "well if they can get away with it, why am I busting a gut..?"
Still, heaven forbid the s on here can withdraw their head from their idols backsides long enough to give them their share of the blame eh?

| Does anyone really think there's been a lack of effort on the player's part this season, even in our darkest times?

Nope not at all. I think there has been a huge amount of effort put in (the last 15 mins of the Bradford game are evidence enough of that) I think the effort has been focussed in the wrong areas and at the wrong times. Add in a fairly steady stream of injuries, a natural decline and not great recruitment & the recent rise of Wigan, Huddersfield & Warrington and I think it explains why we are where we are in the table.

| Well just seen Lee Smith is featuring in the 9s on Tuesday - so we can only hope/assume that means after his last 2 dreadful performances he's not off to the piedome.
Interesting to see who else is playing in the 9s as it should show us whether it'll be Zak or BJB in for Smith?
