(* As the SL website/Opta still have Dale Ferguson playing at Wakefield he isn’t showing up individually in the stats. His totals still appear to add in to the Huddersfield team total though which is where the figures above are calculated from. However as the team ‘missed tackles’ is always a nonsense figure it remains a ?? mystery.)
Try Assists:
Scott Grix (Jermaine McGillvary Try)
Kevin Brown (Dale Ferguson’s 2nd Try)
Kevin Brown (Shaun Lunt’s 2nd Try)
No assist awarded for the 1st Dale Ferguson try, the 1st Shaun Lunt try (Lee Gilmour unlucky to miss out there) and the Luke Robinson try.

And those missed tackles and erros stats looks mighty generous for Kirke and Hauraki.

| Hauraki missed more than 2 tackles. But besides that you only have to look at the rest of his stats to understand just how much he cost us in that game. Not on his own accepted, but a big part of the problem in the preformance.
If this guy keeps his shirt for Thursday it just goes to show how bad our squad is.

Nope, not just you. 4 carries seems to be a recurring theme. He has a better week, then backs it up with another 4-carry display. I have been a defender of Kirke on here, but this is now happening too often.
It certainly felt like Hauraki lost the ball more than 3 times.... I'm sure I remember Burgess knocking on down in their 20 in the 2nd half too? It was a fair way from me, so perhaps I got the wrong man.

| Amors performance & stats highlight how much development he needs to do before he's in contention at Leeds. Granted he was playing in a well beaten team but his defence looked very poor.

I don't need to look at the stats to form an opinion.
I was at the game it helps, I feel you weren't. Over the last few days you haven't offered anything about the game, then pop up the stats and you start running your mouth. Like clock work every time.
Please enjoy forming your 1D opinions without seeing the game. I may try it sometime.

What was your opinion of him at the game on Friday?
FWIW I thought he was pretty poor and was to blame for the first try conceeded, and played a part in the conceeding of the next two.
I also think to be fair to him, he realized that and it effected his game as the match wore on.

The 1st try was the fault of Jjb and Burrow imo mate.
Watch the ptb Bailey is clearly pointing to his right and going that way whereas RB doesn't move and jjb arrives late after failing to see the huge gap between him the ruck and the try line.
I don't think his overall performance matched his prior efforts although he tried to get stuck in he wasn't as effective imo but putting O'sh#thouse on his arris and giving the "Astra Thief" a well deserved slap were entertaining in game where we were totally outplayed.

| I posted at the weekend Bailey had a decent game and put himself about. Many agreed. Bailey was an effective forward Friday, in his limited time he took the ball up more than 4 times for a start.

My opinion of him, playing rugby wise, was 'better than some'
He clearly put himself about and also filled in at second row on the right hand side, which seems to have missed so far.
Having said that he has had much stronger games, but in a match where we were dicked all over who was showered in glory?
Least he carried some aggression levels against a dominant pack.
As for their first try, from memory, TMFMISL pealed to the right, with Burrow the other marker edging left, with JJB also not filling the gap. To put responsibility for that score on Bailey's plate is a little creative.

| Accepting that forwards get sent off for biff occasionally (and it hardly disadvantaged us) and that Bailey's job is to be a s, aggressive, needly b****d, I thought he had a good game prior to his dismissal. There were flaws, but no more than from anyone else, and he was probably our most aggressive ball carrier in his first spell.

All looked very disorganised didn't it.
Probably Jamie Jones-Buchanan has suddenly become a poor defender, and it isn't a systemic problem after all....
