I suspect, in very limited game time, he doubled the amount of carries Kirke has done in two specific games this year. Showed all the qualities so lacking in Kirke and I've said many, many times that there must be some better willing young kid in our academy than the gentle giant.

I am being harsh bringing this up because Kirke actually was somewhat improved last night but I am afraid those displays are all too rare and even a much improved Kirke is no great shakes.

Definate improvement last night. Drove the ball in hard, a few offloads, plus some good,hard tackling-a bit like you on a Monday!

Yeah, he's small but he doesnt check his run. Did he lose a collision last night? Often he seemed to be knocking a couple of players back. I liked the look of him a lot.

I was impressed with Singleton last night. He seemed pumped up and willing to put his body on the line. All he needs to do now is bulk up with some muscle which will come with time and he could be a good player for the future

I thought in the curcumstances the stand in props in particular were very good. even kirky, with JJB put alot of minuted in anf being reasonable effective against what was salfords first 13 pack.

It was good to see Sinfield, Senior etc getting him involved straight away and helping him to settle in.

He actually took 3 hit ups in the first set of 6 when he came on.

We didn't miss Cross. Which is a problem in itself.

He was excellent on the night - showed what it meant to him to get a run in the first team. Hopefully it will not be the last we see of him this season

Very true! I hate getting on players backs. I was underwhelmed when we signed him. Cross is Fooking useless! I shall give him as much time as he needs to settle and turn it around! In the very short time he has been with us it's a massive thumbs down from me so far.

Singleton should not be dropped. He should be before both Cross and Kirke in the pecking order.

Sorry to disagree but I thought that Singleton looked lightweight & I'd be concerned at him being injured if asked to play at this level until he's bulked up.

He ran in hard & looked enthusiastic which is what you'd like to see but was relatively easily stopped.
He doesn't look nearly as tall as Peacock.
A slimmer Pitts I'd have said.
I'm not knocking the lad just expressing my views.
We just don't seem to finding lads of the build that I'd like to be seeing.

not as tall no. i was thinking of metre making. i think when he fills out he will be a cracking player. you would expect him to be easily stopped given the size of him to cashmore and the others.
