I've always had questions about Burgess, but he had an excellent game tonight.

Very impressive, as was Leuluai's tackling despite him obviously tiring at the end.

Yeh agree totally he was great for us tonight, and I thought he was one of our best players against Bradford last week

Burgess really stood and so did Ian Kirke. He has had a lot of stick but Kirky was solid tonight. Cannot leave Kylie out either, he played a lot of minutes and still carted the ball up strongly.

Yeah, I, like many others am often left underwhelmed by Kirke, but tonight he had a bigger game.

That's 2 on the trot where Burgess has looked a much improved prop and tonight he and the other 2 were very good and got through alot of hard graft and hopefully they'll all kick on from here.

I agree with Iestyn Harris. Burrows is taking the line on a lot more.

In the absence of Maguire, Burrows has always been a far better player.

They've rarely gelled as a half back partnership.

Maguire hampers Burrows natural talents.

You'd think a SL coach would be able to pronounce a player's name right. He called him Rob Burrows all night.

Burrow is still running too laterally for me, and trying to step into gaps that other players are running into. However he is taking charge more now, like he did in 2007 when he was at his peak IMO. His eye for the pass still isn't quite right, but it's getting there.

With his contract up at the end of the season, Luke will be trying to catch the eye of a NRL coach, so we can expect some big performances from the guy.

Burrow is doing exactly the same as he was doing last year when he was unjustly criticized. He simply now has better attacking options running off him.

He was instrumental last week, being pivotal in three of the tries and was everywhere last night. Had Tomkins or Eastmond scored the try he scored at Cardiff or done some of the things Rob has been doing these last couple of weeks the whole of RL Fans and Sky would be exploding in a simultaneous orgasm.

Anyway, back OT, Burgess was excellent and, you know what, Kirke had a damn fine game as well.

Yes they did a few seasons back but thus far I've seen nowt. Maybe they will pic a few up when the nrl season gets going?
