I know there are loads of threads about Disko, but this has a slightly different slant.

As (most!) of you on here will know, I was and am a big fan of Diskin's.

HOWEVER has he mentioned his testimonial year or thanked the fans for supporting it? I haven't seen anything in the press from him but would happily stand corrected if I am wrong. As someone who has been to a couple of his do's and supported him in other ways, a 'thank you' wouldn't go a miss!!

I like Diskin, what he has done for the recent success of Leeds is irrefutable.

But… the way he has fekked off with out a bye or leave to all the fans who may have spent a couple of hundred quid supporting his testimonial events/shirts/raffles etc. I think is disgraceful.

Dont forget he has his finale dinner lined up in November so im sure more than likely that there will be some more thanks for the memories articles put out around then. Until then he can keep schtum and drive up interest for his final testmonial event.

Even though, like most clubs, Bulls will doubtless treat all season ticket holders as attending and include them in the count? And the Bulls got nearly 11k pledges, plus around 650 immediately after the deadline before the club shut the facility, plus all the kids and concessions who did not count towards the pledge total? Plus the walk-ins and away fans?

When all the OOC players were announced they were signing if Diskin hadn't been listed that would have stuck out like a sore thumb.

which may have rained on the middle of his testimonial campaign with events etc.

So maybe he felt (or his team felt) that better business would be generated if they announced the move at the end of the season?
