I stopped reading what Schofield wrote when I heard that was due to be mentored by the only coach to win 7 NRL Grand Finals and he spent the time at the pub instead.

For as good a player as Schofield was, he is an equally bad coach and pundit.

I was approached to be a sponsor of Huddersfield when he was announced as their coach (weren't they still at Fartown ?) - a very professional package they put together too, colour printing and everything, they put great stock in Mr Schofield as their coach and he was their #1 selling point.

At the same time we went down to Headingley and asked about sponsorship details, you could pay about £10 extra and have your name painted on the back of your seat in the North Stand and, erm, that was about it.

the job will have been taken long before this ad was placed imo,as jobs like this don't need to be advertised to find the suitable candidates,i can't imagine gh saying at the interview "where did you hear about the job" can you?
