| There used to be giant 2ft long rats where the old Stanningley rugby club was before it got knocked down. Its not that uncommon. Still, when my cat jumps on my lap from now on Id better just glance down and check

| Ditto - the biggest rat I ever saw was one our cat caught, and excluding the tail was probably about 8 inches long. Much nicer colour than that as well, more blond.

| They reckon it's a coypu now. The body mysteriously disappeared and they claim a fox ate it. If I was a suspicious person I'd say it was just some chav trying to get 'in t'papers'. It worked!

| It's that big it's holding a green brush in its hands. But it's not a rat, it doesn't have a rats face.

Either that or a Greater Cane Rat / Grasscutter (Thryonomys swinderianus), which despite the name, isn't a rat at all (but is still a rodent) and is often used in Africa for 'bush meat'.

"The residents of Ravenscliffe estate in Bradford, West Yorkshire are used to seeing massive rodents that sometimes appear in kitchens and lounges."

That stood out to me too
I like the quote from this following article:
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... there.html
Quote The super-sized Brandford rat - variously nicknamed the 'Beast of Bradford' or 'Ratzilla' - was one of five spotted by Brandon Goddard, who hunts normal-sized rats regularly with friends.

Oh how the nights must fly by ay.
