Had a great laugh with a bunch of Wire fans whilst on a stag do to Megamuff in June

so hopefully some nice banter between us all in the next 2 weeks.

Think we can agree it will be a very friendly final off the field atleast

The second half wasn't good for the nerves and I'd hate to know what it did to the blood pressure but it was great to watch.After a bit of an up and down season(like ourselves)the Rhinos attack really looked back to normal in the second 40.We couldn't cope with the speed at the ruck and the offloads.
Great game,worthy of any Final,let alone semi.

TBH I thought Leeds were poor yesterday. Ball retention was terrible and discipline was poor again. Poor discipline needs addressing.

At times yes very poor.

IMO when we were poor we were VERY VERY POOR

in fact just downright stupid at times.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think Saints scored directy of our errors at least 3 times.

Good job when we were good we were EXCELLENT in fact as good as I have seen all season.

Very frustrating at times but it made for a great afternoons viewing..... thankfully.

Yes. cut out the errors/silly penalties and Leeds win easily.

Saints pushed Leeds all the way to the point of winning themselves without any half backs. Let's not let the win gloss over the performance for long spells.

Swings and roundabouts. They scored from some of our errors but they let us off the hook a couple of times in that game big style and that kept us in it.

Didnt read it like that myself...yes we conceded position, posession, pressure, and points, ( the vital ingerdients to winning rugby) due to some really dumb errors but at times we also hit the highest levels of skills and vision to take the game at the death even after going behind on 83 minutes.

its frustrating watching them this season but no less exciting..........



I thenk Bluey needs some plaudits yesterday the rotations were spot on.

At 22-14 we weren't comleting our sets and were on the rack. Saints have posession on our line and another try would probably put the game beyond us.

Up steps sir francis meli on the 2nd tackle, throws a pass to no one, burrow collects, 2 mins later we are 2 points behind.

Then, 2 points down with 5 left, saints have the overlap and look rampant.

Up steps sir francis meli and decides to run back into trouble instead of putting gardner in for the gamne clinching try.

2 mins later leeds are in front again.

Then. with 1 minute to go saints are coming forward for one last effort.

Up steps sir francis meli who throws the pass to no one, smith collects, and leeds are spared a tense couple of tackles.

Always an asset wherever he plays. Good old "Sir Francis Meli."

just watched highlights of the game and have to admit that was one of the best games of rugby i seen!
both teams played awesome but well done leeds!

I got a feeling this will be a friendly final, 2 teams at the top of their game and goodwill at the end of the game. I hope i can shake some leeds fans hands, win or lose as goodwill and respect. (show other teams the way forward in sporting rivalry)
