| Same again please, however without the dip in the last 10 of each half, that'll be all

| Very sloppy ending to both halfs for us hopefully that'll tighten up next week.
Some great tries scored today and good to see big Keith starting to hit a bit of form plenty to work on but the positives outweigh the negatives and hopefully we'll continue to improve.

| Hope McClennan spends a lot of time on the McGuire, Delaney and Smith partnership in defence.. They we're clueless but im confident Bluey will sort it out.

| How did our forwards go today? Missed the games as was working. Did kirke seem improved. He just looked knackered when I saw him in France.

Kylie owned O'meley. Had him in his back pocket all night. Kylie put some early shots on him and O'meley didn't even look interested in winning the battle the soft c0ck.
Bailey was great again, steady and made good yardage.
Kirke made a couple of aggressive drives but disappeared after that.
JJB same old hard work. Ali was immense in attack. Burgess had a solid game, made 1/2 handling errors but did his job.

Same again with ball in hand please, but we all know how Hull are going to play now next week. Attack Attack Attack our right hand side. If we don't get the tackle bags out we will be in for a shock.
Big raps to Kirke today, not the best on the pitch, but made Burgess and Bailey look like pups in the forward department. And to think most of us have questioned his commitment and aggression.

You watched a different game to me.
Kylie put some good hits in, but O'Meley had a very good game. A very class prop who was by far the best prop on the pitch.
Bailey and Burgess were absolute 5h1te. Both passengers in the game.
Kirke had a very good game, with more than a couple of aggressive drives. He really stepped up today.
Sinfield for me was a clear MOM, with Ali, Senior, and Webb right behind him. Also big raps to Hall for reading the game really well.

Again we disagree,Burgess and Bailey played ok imo and were far from passengers.
Kirke improved but still wouldn't make the 17 with everyone fit imo and although o'meely had a decent game i thought we contained him well and hit him harder than he hit us.

Disagree completely. O'Meley best prop on pitch BY FAR - Sorry but dont be daft! IMO Kylie had him in his pocket.
Kirke was a bit average. Made a couple of aggressive drives but nothing special. Burgess was quite in comparison to recent games however Bailey had a high workrate.

Neither Bailey or Burgess could have been fit. Both were really poor. There was no high work rate from Bailey at all. Don't try and curry flavour with posters. Obviously I don't have the stats to hand, but hazarding a guess it will end up something like 11 carries, 45 metres, 13 tackles, and 1 miss tackle. Lets see how close I am. Burgess might look even worse due to 2 errors and 1 miss tackle.
I will be amazed if Kirkes stats are not far superior to either player above. He will have made much more meterage, his play the balls were quick, and he got around for the tackles.
But I bet you O'Meley's stats absolutely dwarf all the other props. He kept coming and coming, and his passes were sublime.

I look forward to the tvocs weekly dose
Bet you Kylies metres per carry will be higher than O'Meleys. I was looking forward to O'Meley dishing out some heavy hits and seeing how Kylie and Bailey will contain him. Instead Kylie hit him hard in the first set, hit him hard again a few sets later....then a few sets later him hard again and dislodged the ball.
I dont want to step into G1's shoes and have 20 special on who is right and wrong. You saw it one way I saw it the other.

I wouldn't have said Bailey was 'really poor'. He was solid in defence and took the ball up well. His stats will be better than Kirke's in my opinion. I agree with you about Burgess though. Silly errors and not overly effective ball in hand.

It's fair to say from those comments, that the coach and players realize the defensive effort was not good enough full stop, rather than just the last 10 minutes of each half.
Good on them, hopefully they will do something about it. Especially the right hand side, which I mentioned above, where particular comment was made from Bluey.

I didn't dispute the right hand side comments, again i still think the poor defence was in the last quarter of each half.

Well like you said, we will just have to dissagree.
I came away from that game though, despite seeing exactly what I pay to watch, a fantastic quality rugby performance with ball in hand, and yet went home dissapointed because of the defensive effort.
And to be honest, unlike yourself, even if Hull had never had the ball for that last 10 and not scored the extra points, I still would have been dissapointed with the defensive effort.

| Not really match related but there was a hull fan outside the Oak me and the old man tried to help. We thought he was ill or something (turned out he was complete trollied) so put him in the recovery position and tried to help him out. Stopped bothering after been called a c**t for the 5th time so told the bar staff and left him be (not the best I suppose but he seemed coherent and awake) later to find his mates had dumped him there while they went for a pint.

| I thought that we struggled to contain Manu all afternoon & thought that Big Sam Moa gave them good go forward when he came on.
Mind you they struggled to cope with Delaney when we attacked down our right too.
Strange that since I thought we'd target Hall (Craig - not Ryan) maybe we're saving that till next week.
Danny McGuire made 2 fantastic catches from Tansey's kick offs (kicks off?) in the 2nd half. One diving forward and one over his head followed by a somersault, outstanding I thought.
Interesting use of quck short passes in the middle of the ruck & despite Sinfield's 2 penalties for holding down, we suffered defensively when he departed.
It was good to be warm for a change too.

Considering that you are both allegedly some sort of Walter Mitty characters, that is probaly not surprising.
What is really shocking is that you both thought Bailey had a bad game. As the man said - Christ, you know it aint easy.

And the fact that were so poor down our defensive right side is all the more inexcusable given your less than accurate statistic.
