just been on BBC sports forum - new channel on sky channel 433 - showing live NRL - Knights v Cowboys from next Saturday - just set it up on my planner - hope we finally get to see live NRL in the UK - I believe MSk are an Irish company - anyone know anything of them

They're something to do with Setanta I believe. There's also a Friday morning game on.

Up to now it's not been extra subscription. I think it's been knocking about for a while. Just depends what they buy the rights to I guess, but then they'll run the risk of going the same way as Setanta UK

Excellent news they have showed Gaelic football in the past so are definately an irish channel but it has been freeview.

lets hope this is the start of being able to watch NRL week in week out throughout the season and SOO as opposed to just a one week flash in the pan?

Looks like the owner is indeed Sentanta. At the moment they seem to have old GAA games on as a holding page for the channel. No doubt they are building up a range of rights before officially launching

Apparently its free as long as you have the sky news and events package



I suppose it wont last long if it becomes popular there will more than likely be a charge involved
