Hate to hark on about him but unless he did 5 minutes thats shocking. That would be a useful addition to the OPTA stats IMO, game time or % time involvement.
The thing with Pitts, he could have made three decent drives and then been pushed back. But I wasn't there so it could easily be an error. How are the OPTA stats assembled for RL? If there any high tech involved or is it just a man with a jotter and a pencil?

bailey did only play about 20 mins ie the low metre stat but still made 14 tackles in this time which goes 2 show why bailey is a important member of the rhinos but cos he does not make loads of yards everyone jumps on his back....defence wins games.....

Correct.
TMFMISL played the first stint that's all. He didn't reappear.
For Ryan he's played a fair bit of game time so far this season. All the props have had some form of rest so far, so he is being saved for the bigger clash this week.
Openly speaking with ball in hand he didn't blow anyone away. However he did successfully operate a legal ball steel and carry. Very clever play.
Oh and no jokes about him stealing - you racists!!!!
As for his tackling - faultless.
The game against Giants overall should be a cracker - especially with the 2 big packs. |

I've only attempted to keep track of penalty counts in Leeds' games since the 2005 season and there are several gaps along the way from then to date.
Of those recorded there have been a couple +/- 10 :
2007 ..... Wakefield ..... Away ..... Klein ...... 18 - 8 in Leeds' favour
2009 ..... Wakefield ..... Away ..... Child ...... 17 - 7 in Wakefield's favour
and one other +/- 12 :
2006 ..... Castleford..... Home ..... Laughton...... 18 - 6 in Leeds' favour
In percentage terms a 14 - 2 count will take some beating I would imagine. |

I'd agree that good old Thierry was at his 'bizarre' best again but you do have to take into account the amount of Leeds' possession in the second half, IIRC Quins didn't touch the ball for 20 mins except to kick off or knock down a Leeds pass. |
