From what I have seen on Sky and live every team that's been on seems to have steped up a gear with their defensive line speed and their ability to read the attack. If this is what the first round is like I can't wait to see it towards the back end of the season. This IMO will raise the intensity of games and hopefully help improve our attacking threats which in turn will obviously help the National team.

It also means we will be stuck in our own half making no yardage even more than usual.

I agree. The game reminded me of Leeds and Cas of old.Cas came and gave it their best and Leeds for mine thought all they had to do was turn up, probably believing what their own press.This is the first season that we have been favorites to win everything and rightly so but can the Leeds players cope with that, I for think they will and hopefully that defeat will be turned into a positive.

in my humble opinion i think the bad pitch just does not suit leeds style of rugby it slows us down too much although its the same for both teams it always seems to effect us more for some reason
