If it's the Winter (any time before say, the middle of May) then I might just look at the via France option. I went down by train from Paris a couple of years ago and that was an enjoyable trip.

There's always Carcasonne to look around.

If it is any time after the middle of May, then I will certainly be looking for flights to Spain.

Carcasonne is a cracking place – a couple of years back the missus and I had one of the beat meals we’ve every had at the restaurant in the square then spent the rest of the day in the old fortified city.

I hope the Catalans game is during the school holidays - after missing so many games last season (No, I am not Leon Pryce!) we are hoping to do them all next season and watch us lift numerous trophies - starting on Boxing Day - just thought - Wakey at least had some silverware to show for last season unlike the other three of the big four Weeeeegan, Stains and the Dulls!

I'd say the one that made the CC final with the addition of Gilmour and Drew will be alright next year. Hopefully they can kick on and string some results together.

Provisional fixtures have already been issued for the clubs to study ahead of their official release.

They are due out towards the middle/end of November. It'll definitely be after the Tri Nations final. I'd expect it to be the Monday after. I'm sure a quick email to the RFL might get your query answered.

Should have known that as I was there - then again, comes to something when the mighty Weeeeegan count their academy teams trophies rather than the first teams achievements.

I recall that last season they brought out the first few fixtures of the season out early in the YEP, a week early, am i correct? maybe they might do that again.
