Signing someone who has been crocked for a season isn't the best way forward

I was thinking that.. bet they'd have sooner had Greg Bird.. Bulls must have been gutted on what they saw last Friday, he was top drawer.

Hape was injured for full season before we got him he turned out ok..les was injured before we got him and constantly had knee problems while with us but was amazing when fit.

Scruton another who was injured for you but missed none for us.

Scruton played in 30 out of a possible 35 Leeds matches in 2008. So perhaps he was already over his hand and foot injuries from the previous season when Bradford signed him?

This guy has averaged something like 11 games a season for the last 8/9 years. Hopefully for Bradford he's over that! His track record isn't too promising though..

The "People's Team" was a Caisley creation. It was supposed to indicate that, unlike you and numerous other SL clubs, the Bulls were not bankrolled by a wealthy individual, but relied primarily on the support of the bodies through the turnstiles.

There was no undue hype, just rubbish promotion. And the fans did not anyway buy into it, because the launch was crap and it was a pants description anyway. Pretty well all of us always considered it embarrassing and just ignored it.

But don't let the facts get in the way of having a dig, eh? After all, we had the opportunity to do it to you for long enough, and as is the way of these things may well have the opportunity at some stage in the future to do so again.

But for now, kindly bog off, eh?

This would be the SL team that has dispensed with Tupou, Morrison, Jeffries, Solomona and Tadulala.

In the main I think you're right - but wasn't it also successful to some degree, in embodying Bradford Bulls culture of that time? I thought it had some level of buy in from fans, and whilst it left an opportunity for opposition fans to have a laugh and the thinking home fan to cringe, for a great many supporters it worked.

No different to some of the utter bol-lux that's come out of Headingley in recent years that's been lapped up by many fans.

No direct dig at the Bulls but the majority of SL. Its still one Aussie up overall considreing run of th mill Jeffries, good on his day that never comes anymore Solomona and do I still play Morrison. Terrific.

Have they signed Chris Walker as well? Or is that still rumour/rubbish?
