What did you expect them to do? Cut from the culmination of the live tennis to accommodate a highlights show?

because unfortunately that could involve messing the schedule around more, they will go for the most convenient slot for them. It is always a risk when live sport is about to be followed by something pre recorded.

Not the big comps though. IMO all live sporting events should take priority over a magazine/highlights programme.

I know Tennis is hard to schedule but there were only the minimum of amount of sets played today so scheduling the SL highlights for 5pm was highly optimistic.

Exactly. I am sure the fans of the tennis would have been more annoyed if they had missed the end of a live match than RL fans would be at the highlights of games we already know the score of being moved.

They should watch a proper sport then instead of tennis

Tennis isn't a spectator sport.

The Professional tournements attract a bevy of hanger-ons and corporate whores but pop down to your local tennis club any weekend and see how many spectators cluster around the fences to whoop and scweem at a "hero" that has been selected by a newspaper for them - answer is none.

Its not a spectator sport, any more than fishing is, the BBC have no place showing it.
