Don't think Wigan can play at home as the football is playing that weekend so could be switched

aren't all academy games for wigan at orrell anyway. so may just mean a weird kick off time, depending on the day of the game

If Leeds win next week the final should be at Headingley. Clubs have to use the first team ground for the final and there is no way Wigan will get into the DW for a reserve team game.

We could name a very strong side if they're not required for the 1st team next week

Amor is finished with Whitehaven now after their defear to Widnes so his loan has expired and he comes back to the Rhinos. On that basis he can be included cant he?

Why was Pitts allowed to play?
He played on Friday v Salford.

A player can't play for the reserves and academy on the same weekend so how come a player can play first team and reserve on the same weekend.

I'm not having a go at Leeds just trying to get clarification?

Also, James Donaldson played for Bradford at Hull on Friday, and he played for Bradford academy today.

Yet a team plays ALL their games at a ground which is acceptable but can't play the final there.

What's next uncompetitive academy games?

Pitts and BJB were subs for both the first team and reserves they didn't play for too long so don't have any problem in them playing in both if they're up to it.

I agree Wigan have won the right to play at home, not sure why the final has to be at a super league ground not like there's gonna be a massive crowd.

Do the reserve and academy competitions still have qualifying criteria for the playoffs that exclude players who have made a certain percentage of their appearances for the first team in that season?

Obviously the rules for 1st team and reserve games are different than the rules for reserve and academy?

I assume the rules are such to prevent the younger players being unduly exposed.

Dunno, but IMO those who qualify for the academy should be able to play for the academy no matter how many games theyve played for the first team.

However, if they have not played for the academy its a bit unfair if they take someones place who has played all year.
