Just been to Istanbul for work with a guy that has been to Cape Verde a few times. He says its a but underdeveloped, but if you are just looking to relax and not do anything its a good place to go.

I've heard Aruba is nice if you fancy something a bit different, and I went to Thailand (Phuket) earlier this year and had a great holiday.
