The only positive that may come from this is if Inglis is either jailed (probably unlikely) or gets a long suspension from the game. If other halfwits playing the game see the number one star treated harshly, it might make some of them think twice.

TBF the game needs to have a long, long look at these off-field issues and start banning players for very minor indiscretions IMO, and I would think look at introducing league-wide curfews on players. The number of 'incidents' that arise when players are out on the lash in the early hours of the morning is ridiculous. This isn't the case of 'a few bad apples' - every club it seems has had at least one or two players involved in something unsavoury.
