dad was talking to some friends at his golf club yesterday - one of whom says that the rumour at Headingley at the moment is that Noble will be the coach from next year & that Sinny wants to leave as he is unhappy that Nobby never picked him when he was GB coach

Thought Bluey was contracted for next year aswell so not too sure how strong this rumour is - anyone else heard this?

Someone should tell McClennan he's not the coach this year

McClennan is contracted to Leeds for the 2010 season, I'd be fairly amazed if anything interferes with that.

I don't believe the rumour......but you never know.

I know there were posts on here when Tony Smith announced he was going that Noble was coming because he wanted to returnm to Yorkshire and i'm sure posters on here said that senior players like Sinfield had approached the club saying they were not happy about the prospect of playing under Noble.

Wind forward to now and there has been strong rumours on Warrington Forum for sometime claiming that Sinfield to Wire is a done deal for next season.I always thought it was boll*cks but this Noble to Leeds rumour if true (and I still doubt it isnt) would/could explain why Wire fans seem so sure Sinny is going to them

But would Noble really want to coach leeds? he is Bulls through and through and i was always under the impression he hated Leeds with a passion. With that in mind I really cant see the board bringing him in at Leeds. also why would we get rid of Bluey when he has a year left and he isnt exactly ruining the squad is he?

I agree about Bluey but must admit that watching most of his press conferences this season and when Sky cameras have panned onto him during many games he looks like a guy under extreme pressure and often looks as stressed out as McNamara

Noble has historically had teams packed with overseas players - Leeds are historically a club that prefers to invest in and bring through juniors from its academy set up.

Unless there is going to be a significant change by one or both parties the result will be accrimonious big style - can't see it myself
