With the best pack in SL, then how the hell can the Bulls be in such a lowly position?

No i'm just picking up on the Bulls poster's pre season arrogance

Reality has hit that they aren't the best pack in the league although competitive on their day(results aginst us and saints prove that) add to that they have an average coach,average backline and they are 12th on merit!!!

Whether we have the best pack or not, nobody can deny that they are underperforming (as they are by no means pis$ poor). The reason for our league position is simple for anybody with any RL knowledge. Our backs are pis$ poor.

If you pack isn't going forward the Your backs are limited to what they can do! You could have the best backs in the world but if they have to go the length of the field to score you are gonna struggle, plus the bulls have the worst defence in The comp

You thought you were going to get an argument didn't you? I'm not for a change, I agree partially anyway. But if our forwards aren't going forward then they are being coached wrong or lack motivation. Either way it all leads to a non play-off spot.

No I didn't think that!! I was just saying it's hard to blame backs when you have a turn style defence!! For example beaver has been pretty good for you with ball in hand but his defence is shocking!

I don't think you can call his defence shocking tbh. It's not the best, but when you have Sykes, Sheriffe and Deacon in your team he looks like the best pis$ing tackler in the world.

I'd agree that Bradford's major problem lies in the backs. It was noticeable last week that we were quite prepared to kick the ball dead, and take a 20 restart, rather than always pushing for a repeat set.

That way, our forwards could take a bit of breather and we were challenging Bradford to go 80m to score. With the lack of pace in the side, that's always going to be difficult.

Personally I don't think it's the lack of pace, as we have Halley coming forward in attack, BJ isn't slow and we have Worrincy and Beaver in the pack. I just think it's lack of creativity in the halves. We cannot seem to shift the ball around enough and we seem to be relying too much on getting an offload from Burgess, Lynch or Menzies. Deacon is just running out of ideas in his old age

Halley, to me, is the only one with pace. Jeffries has never struck me as that quick, but I'll grant you he's lightning compared to Deacon!

Paleaasina is lightning compared to Deacon. I'm wondering how you'll do for pace when Burrow, McGuire, Webb, Donald, Hall and Sinfield all go to Wire.

If Newton and Solomona weren't so fat and slow then it wouldn't actually be that bad a pack really. It'd front up to most SL packs anyways but then when you take into fitness issues and regular injuries then it becomes rather average.

As for some of the comments aimed at Burgess for been useless that I've seen in other places. the poor lads out on his feet alongside Lynch trying to mobilise the forwards. They cant be expected to do everything
