| The previous week you said Leeds never put on move involving a Peacock offload like the one in the international.
Maybe I was mistaked but did McGuire's try not come from exactly the same move?
Good to see McClennan has taken on board your knowlegeable post
One day he might he might actually do a Tony Smith and win a GF

Not quite never saw a move like that in Smith's days - let's face it what side was Peacock on in 2005 - being out coached by Noble is hardly something anyone wants to copyicon_biggrin.gif

'" Sure did David and was very pleased to see it too.
Trying to remember the last time Peacock made an offload since MClennan arrived.
Good to see a week under Smith's influence have such a positive influence on Peacock and McGuire.

| Yer but you see, whilst the 2004 grand final victory has absolutely nothing to do with Daryl Powell, the 2008 success was pretty much Tony Smiths side, and therefore he deserves the credit

2007 - 42 in 25 Appearances (Leeds - Smith)
2008 - 40 in 24 Appearances (Leeds - McClennan)
2009 - 13 in 15 Appearances (Leeds - McClennan) Prior to Harlequins

He's maturing and realizing that you cannot offload after every tackle, how many of the 83 in 2005 went to the ground when Bradford were very poor for 3/4 of the season and chasing games?

So really, his offloads per appearance ratio has actually increased under McCLennan?

Being crap for 3/4 of the season and still finishing as Champions from third?

No not unless my calculator is broken
2005 - 2.96 (Noble)
2006 - 2.67 (Smith)
2007 - 1.68 (Smith)
2008 - 1.67 (McClennan)
2009 - 0.87 (McClennan)

Thats why I put 3/4, I'm under no illusions that the Bulls didn't deserved to win it that year but they were very poor for most of the season.

And still finished in third prior to the play offs.
How did they manage a top quarter finish while being crap for 3/4 of the season?
