Meanwhile, a decision on World Cup winner Greg Eastwood's future could be made soon.

Eastwood was due to join Rhinos at the start of the season, but was denied a visa by the UK Border Agency.

He is now playing for Australian side Canterbury Bulldogs, effectively on loan from Leeds until the end of the season, pending the result of an appeal.

Rhinos chief executive Gary Hetherington said: "There have been no developments, but we were told the appeal would take from one to 16 weeks and it's coming up to 16 weeks, so it should be soon."

Meanwhile, Rhinos Super League fixture at Hull has been put back a day to Saturday, July 4 (5pm) for live coverage on Sky TV.

Sky will also cover Rhinos' derby at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, which has been brought forward two days to Friday, July 10 (8pm).

He's been going okay and improving each time i've seen him, the Bulldogs are joint top and playing some great stuff and have a very strong pack anyway, they play the Panthers tomorrow morning live on Setanta at 10.30am.
