How many late tackles from this lot
I lost count of the number of times a Leeds player was taken out after he'd passed the ball and was looking to support the attack.

Once or twice you could live with but it appeared that this must have been coached into them

I can see now why Hull KR, Cas and others have complained about the tactics used by them

There were a lot of late shots but what i noticed a lot of from them were the second efforts in the tackle, slowing the ruck down.

yes Theiry seemed happy for them to turn our players over, Suspect if we had done it we would have been penalised

Huddersfield are that sort of side. You can call it dirty if you like, but essentially they'll try to dominate the ruck and tackle area by whatever means they can. They'll stretch the patience of a few refs, but they'll do whatever they are allowed to get away with. Nothing wrong with that in my book. They seem to be ruffling a lot of feathers this year, which shows they are doing something right. It might not be pretty, but it can certainly be effective, and they're there to try to win games, which they've been doing a fair bit this year.

Agreed. You need to see how far you can push the laws and the particular ref.

True, its up to the ref to clamp down on it, if he chooses not to why should they stop doing it? nothing ventured, nothing gained.

This is hardly a new claim and I don't see the problem.

That's how they play and that's how their succeeding.

But against us it hasn't worked. In the 2 games we've played against them we have dominated the game.

If they keep playing like that, it plays into our hands. We are tight round them and they haven't created a great deal from inside their own half. Box 'em up and then attack.

They were very naughty, some of the tackling was far too rough, in fact its safe to say that Huddersfield were a disgrace to the sport and should recieve a fine.

Or a warning letter from the RFL asking them to play nice with the smaller boys, like Leeds got under Murray?

Yes, I don't think that Huddersfield pack would last very long against that Leeds hit squad!!
