Having said that, hopefully Cayless will go because he has spent so much time injured over the last 18 months that he's been pretty much gone anyway and we really can't afford another Scully, which is what he appears to have turned into.

Cayless looks a shadow of the player he was in aus, when he was one of the top props in the NRL. Injuries have taken their toll I feel. I said at the time, when he had his knee operation that he would never get back to the standard he was, and I was right.

Ive said it before and I will say it again. Leeds are like Saints, in that their recruitment is always spot on (visa shambles excluded of course). There will be something in the pipeline.

To be fair to other clubs though, for a number of years Leeds and Sts have been signing players for 'maintenance', with a number of absolutely critical positions locked up for years, rather than seeking drastic improvement - which is always far more difficult.

Bradford, OTOH seem to have been pursuing a policy of signing players with a view to mid table mediocrity.
