I thought that exact same thing tonight when the Sky masterminds were talking about how "on paper" Bradford didn't have a chance. Actually "on paper" isn't Bradfords problem, Lynch, Newton, Scruton, Burgess, Fat Bloke/Menzies and Langley, doesn't look the sort of pack that would get bashed around.

Although to qualify that, Cas beat Leeds and Saints last year and were absolute $h1te.

Two awful performances at Knowsley Road tonight. Saints were as awful as it's really possible to be and Bradford were also shocking but had more desire and commitment. The defense from both sides was very weak.

I think everyone knew they had one of the best packs in the league. I stated so in my season preview. Where I said they would be let down was in the backs as the quality they have there is relative to reserve grade. They are 1 of the few Ihave got right so far



I think both Leeds and Saints though have gone into the game expecting to win and it has blown up in our faces. TBF to the Bulls though it's the best they have played all season tonight. Sam Burgess is imense.

Bar that 8 minutes before half time you did look utterly clueless. My wife actually noticed it and frankly she jsut sits reading a book while I watch matches. She doesn't even know what direction you pass in and only knows teams as blue or red and white . The Sky team had obviously rehed all their "lines" and were stumped as well. Bradford stuck at it but still had the same look that Warrington have whenever they play Saints - "it's only a matter of time before we lose".

I would swap the Bradford pack for Leeds in a breath. Sam Burgess was immense as was Lynch and even though it hurts Scruton was also damn good.

Then you have Leeds getting beasted by Quins and Salford, and lets not mention Saints and Manly who really mullered us.

In all fairness the performances V Salford and the Harlequins are the more worrying.
