If you are in Huddersfield early on Saturday afternoon, you might get held up for an hour or so if you decide to call in to the Rugby League Heritage Centre. It is situated in the basement of the George Hotel which is close to the railway station. In there you will find a large collection of Rugby League history and memorabilia: century old digitised photographs, newspaper cuttings, boots, programmes, jerseys, trophys, banners, cups and plasma screen TVs showing matches from both sides of the equator, some pre war and some from the early days of Super League.
On sale there is also a selection of recently published books, magazines, novels and DVDs.
Admission is now free and Sam the manager will be around to talk and to remind everybody present that there is a match to watch live at the Galpharm just in case anybody has forgotten!
