I for one thought that he would have had chances to get in the squad this season, but looks like it hasnt been happening right.. i think that Hull will do him the world of good, as it did before. Hull must like him if they have decided to come in for him again. good luck to him for the month.

In the pre season friendlies he seemed like he had a lot of potential and was a very fast winger and links up well with watkins

I suspect that either Leeds are close to a signing or Smith is close to returning.

1) Why wasn't he given a run in the first team ... Maybe give Ryan Hall a rest and play him with his natural centre partner, Kallum Watkins ?

2) Why, when we're so dire are we loaning out fringe playing staff out, rather than keeping them around and putting some pressure on the established names that aren't cutting the mustard at the moment .... Not least to a club who's fans frankly can't stand the sight of us.

Has this deal been sorted using the Heatherington's domestic arrangements ?

Feel really sorry for the lad.

He scored 3 tries v Wakefield on Boxing Day and has never been given a chance, not even when Leeds' three-quarters have been so dire this season.

As for the husband-wife player-swap scenario....it is so wrong to allow one family to run two separate clubs and does the game no favours at all in terms of credibility. No wonder they don't allow it in football.

It opens up endless possibilities in terms of doing each other favours on and off the field....and just the perception of that is damaging, whether it occurs or not.

Leeds continually loan players to Hull FC - despite the fact that their fans absolutely hate us - but why should we be helping ANY rival in such a way ?

The lad unfortunately, is way behind the standard required for this club, and will not ever make it at this club.

Only the naive easily impressed thought he had a chance, on the back of a couple of meaningless preseason run outs.

Why rest Hall who's 2nd in SL try scoring list and has been one of our better players. Surely the fact the Watkins and BJB were selected over him on wing at Easter give an idea of his place in pecking order at Leeds.

Yup - he's 6th choice for two positions, best let him put himself in the shop window to see if he can find alternative employment next year.

He's carrying a knock, wouldn't it be sensible to have played Broughton against Salford with a point to prove in a team low on confidence, whilst giving Hall a much needed rest ?

Or alternatively you could throw someone pretty much untried into a threequarter line already struggling for form and missing two first choice players. Like I say shows where he stands in the pecking order.

It would have been an option but obviously not one that was used in this most hectic period of the season. It makes you query the size and quality of squad at the coach's disposal this season seeing a player required to turn out so heavily strapped up.
