Defense in the middle was woeful. You can't win games playing like that. Seemed no spark in attack either. Lilley went ok but offered little more than dummy half passing. Many more poor performances than him. No idea why the props didn't come on until the 50 th minute. They looked the best of the pack

But the thing now if we do still by some miracle finish it will have lost its shine as we are now reliant on 'favours' from other teams, rather than showing a dominant force and we will just be a team that has limped over the finish line...

We managed to cover the loss of Aiton for a reasonable time.....he has been the key. We didn't need him at Wembley, but his absence is making itself known more and more. Take nothing away from Lilley, but the positive unpredictability of having Aiton on the field has gone now.

Injuries were always going to be a factor in Leeds winning/not winning the treble.

I forecast Leeds would let the leader's shield slip, but would raise their game for GF success....hope I'm right.....and that Sinfield will be back next game. If not I fear that is it now.....then I just hope Huddersfield win the GF and not Wigan

That middle unit are like statues. When you've got Delaney, Peacock and Leuluai on together, there's zero lateral movement, Anyone with a bit of footwork is going to create havoc.

As much of a "cult hero" as he is, I'm not sure what Delaney is bringing to the party at the minute.

Hopefully the likes of Galloway and Mullally with give that unit a bit more mobility.

You don't get many better chances to win the treble. But 4th clear with the cup in the bag is as good a chance as yore going to get. It will take a massive turn around to pick up anything shiny again this year. I was confident we'd see a renewed Leeds tonight, but I think we are done and phil clarke is spot on. Shockingly bad performance tonight, that really does not reflect well on the coach at all. The players have had their critisism, but what exactly has he been doing with them over last three weeks. Hasn't in any way fixed the problems.

I just went overboard on Ablett after the match for yet another poor effort from him. Think I embarrassed the lad slightly, which I wasn't intending to do as such, but from his response I am guessing he knew himself his effort wasn't good enough, and he took it well. But he wasn't alone. However, expecting tired forwards to be able to put in extra tackles to cover for no middle man tackling is just not good enough. Yet for some reason people think Burrow will be our saviour. We need someone defending that middle channel who can defend.

But they look a beaten up team now. Even had we sneaked that, with the way we played I couldn't have seen us winning another.
