Steelwork at last started being erected on the North Stand

Steelwork started about a week ago on the pavilion on the north side. That’ll be continued all the way across the stand. I think the middle of the Stand will all be completed before they start the cricket seating etc.

interesting this Leeds the city has been named not YCC for the T20 comp. Does that mean that the franchise is open to bidders ? is Gary eyeing up Leeds Rhino's T20 Team ?

Temporary north stand now in place with the roof. Roofing panels still to go on.

These cricketers earn serious money - and we all know the only people making serious money at Leeds don't take to the field. So I can't see GH wanting to run a cricket if he did it would go the way of the RU i.e. quick slide into mediocrity.

that new temporary north stand looks neat I wonder if Cas or Wakey want to buy it?

I'll be collecting my tickets for cats and Hull next Thursday Carnegie terrace not stood for years and jetlag too , but looking forward to it and looking forward to seeing the SS and if it looks as good as it does on Photos

Will the south stand be finished in time? There still looks like there's a lot of work to do.

there only semi opening the bottom terrace and only small capacity about 2k out of 5.5k when finished on standing terrace, so should not be a problem

I presume there will be some limited facilities on the new concourse. Toilets, refreshments etc. Or will it be the rear of a building site. No information given about access to the new stand as yet.

They started the final sections of the south Stand yesterday nearer to the west terrace. Should see this and the whole of the steelwork for the roofing and side cladding in place by end of the next week.

Should see more of Stand open for the Salford game with the concrete stairs embedded in and the crash barriers completed, I would think 2/3.

North Stand steelwork is coming on and you can now see where the top of the seating area will be.

Is this speculation or based on real info? I hope you're right though as it was pretty cramped on Thursday - I think a bit more room would help whilst we all get used to it.

Speculation, however they have a four weeks until the next home game so I would expect the concrete slabs to be embedded in place and the area extended. This might mean they do allow more tickets on sale though too.
