Anyone who thinks Hastings has been anything close to Gale in first few weeks must be incredibly insular themselves. You only pick few halfs in a squad. No room for hanger ons.

The entire sport doesnt have enough half backs. And the standard at Academy level of half backs is appalling.

Its only a train on squad theres really no need to be getting so upset about it.

He's a good standard SL player right now.

Unfortunately, he's playing in an era where wing is probably one of the strongest positions for England. With Jerry, Makinson, Manfredi, Johnson all playing well and genuine world class talent like Hall to come back from injury there's not that much more room for Handley.

Seriously? what the heck. He wouldn't even make a top 10 super league wingers list. He is debatably one of the worst around for finishing ability. Good job he has other qualities to make up for it. But absolutely no where near the likes of Manfredi, Makinson, Johnson, Burgess, Marshall, Ashton, Charnley, McGilvary, Russell, who are just the English ones.

Harry Smith is good, although now out of academy age, Lewis Dodd is good and I hear lots of good things about Mikey Lewis.

Well done to Wane for recognising the obvious. Stick anyone outside Hurrell and watch their try tally rise. A solid enough SL winger, but that's about it IMO.
