Agree, I haven seen him play for a long time live, but he seems to have improved out of sight for me.

He has improved vastly since his first game with us. Looks fitter, stronger and increasingly consistent.

Really hope we can sign him somehow for next year.

According to our website tonight, it states that Kyle is returning to Leeds after next weeks final round of SL fixtures, so it would appear not.

You would hope so MR but lets not forget our esteemed coach has descirbed Richard Moore as "good signing with stacks more potential to come"!

True, plus we should also be having Luke Ambler return from Quins too next season, so that seems a lot of prop forwards to me!

According to today's LE Amor is hoping to make the Leeds team for the play-offs. I'd rather see him in the 17 than Kirke.

What a lot of people don't realise is he played the majority of his amateur Rugby in the centres. It was only in 2009 that he moved to prop at Whitehaven, so he's still learning the ropes as a forward.

Hopefully full time training and more game time has done him the world of good!

Loan spells are useful for players still "learning" their respective positions. If they're going to make potentially costly mistakes, it's best they do them somewhere else rather than in your own team.

Me too. I thought he was industrious and solid, if not spectacular on Friday.

Kirke, on the other hand, was anonymous on Friday.

Didnt no Amor hadn't been a prop for long He has definately improved while at wakey Ambler doesnt seem to have in comparison. Amor should definately be selected over Kirke

Meh - both Singleton and Carvill have more potential than either IMO, so no great loss if they do.

I think potential is the key word here Andy.
The way we do things is that Singleton and Carvill will probably go out on loan to a SL Club first.
For me Amor deserves a run in the first team ahead of both of these and Ambler.

You can't forever play 'the next in line has more potential game' at some point they have to be able and ready to play 1st grade. Leeds appear to have a habit of looking two years ahead and releasing players too soon because some 18 year old is ripping it up at Academy level. It's a judgement call but not one they've always got right.

Teen props that make a lasting impression at 1st grade level are few and far between and those that do generally appear to burn out early as well.
