Looking at Bradford's starting XIII today, they have a good pack, half decent half backs but are weak in the three-quarters and at full back. Shame.

I think you are being alittle generous about their half backs. Deacon is a shadow of the player who ran amok behind their monster pack of old.

Deacons never had it, he played behind a big pack, in an era dominated by size and fitness,i once saw him for gb v nz, a gap like the grand canyon opened up on the third tackle, he sh*t himself and kicked the ball through it with plenty more options open. if he ever had class it should still be there.
