I'm guessing Tony Smith and Brian McClennan (though not overly expensive) would have hurt to a degree.

McDermott = another cheap as chips coaching option.

Yet incredibly successful.

Yes they are, in comparison of course to Leeds 7, which still makes the same scenario. Lets see if the four play for Cas though, because Gale is certainly touch and go.

Flynns only just joined & Maher is a back up player HTH.

But they were both on the missing list which was the point being made.

Still got 4 or 5 of our first 13 out though.

How many must win games have Leeds played (AND LOST) already?

This discussion of who has most men out is meaningless - what counts is what the men on the field actually produce and how they carryout the coach`s tactics / game plan.
We have just demonstrated against a poor Huddersfield team that we can"t execute 5 hit ups & a kick on a consistent basis , the coach can`t pick 17 triers,refuses to give young forwards a chance, we have no plan to stop the opposition star player etc - this is down to one person - the Coach.
If you want further proof - look at the Cas performance with a prop at halfback - they still had dummy runners / planned moves & a reliable kicking game - we have none of these.

Cas All the Way just said they have 4 maybe 5 out injured whereas didn't you just say we have 7? Remind me of the scenario again.

Learn to read a post properly and you might finally be able to make points on here. He actually said out of their first choice thirteen, not out of their squad. You are still clutching at straws on a pointless excuse. And you are still doing it by assuming Massey and Gale are playing.

Hardaker or Golding?
Moon or Keinhorst?
McGuire or Sutcliffe?
Ablett or Achurch?
Ward or JJB?
Cuthbertson or Smith?
Delaney or Walters?
Falloon or Burrow?

All of the above would be an improvement, although I'd keep Keinhorst in the side ahead of Ferres or Singleton.

You can't have most of those above because apparently it's a 100% guarantee that they'll still be in poor form when they return.

I can read allright that they have 4 or 5 missing and we have 7 missing of our first choice 13s and we can't assume McGuire or Hardaker will play either as we have had to name injured playes each week in he 19. You are in denial regarding the very serious handicaps we have had all season.

Translation to that is that you realise you were wrong the other day, so are now changing the goal posts to try and make another point. The point made the other day is exactly the same, Cas have more players missing than we do. Not that it is relevant to what is said, but we actually have six not seven of our first thirteen missing, and even that is debatable depending on whether Ferres should be first choice. Which could very well be the same for Cas tonight also.

Nobody is playing down our difficulties this year, it's just you and others fail to realise that other teams have similar experiences and it is those we should be comparing our results to.

I can't see Leeds getting beat tonight - not if McGuire is back.

Ive been saying that most weeks of the year, indeed this has been reflected by me backing them in the predictions every week and hence my abysmal position reflecting Leeds' at the moment.My patience has finally gone and tonight i have backed against them for the first time so i suggest all you gamblers lump on Leeds for an easy pay day

It was my understanding that you set the goal post by saying:

I queried this and asked you for a list which you failed to provide. Now that Cas fan has said they have 4 or 5 (Massey might play) missing from their starting 13 and it is my understanding that we still have 7 missing from our starting 13 so how is that moving the goal posts. You now say we could well be the same which is a good example of moving your own goal posts as you stated they have more missing than Leeds. This shouldn't need a translation even for you.
