Terrific young player but we have plenty of those coming through. Excited for Corey but it's a massive step for him so let's not expect the world from him, he is only 18 after all.. It's about giving him a taste of it and a bit of an insight. It should have happened before now but at least his chance has arrived now.

Bit harsh on Matt Diskin to say Corey is best home grown 9 since David Ward to be honest but lets see how he goes. Should certainly motivate him and others to have a good off season.

As someone who has watched virtually every 16s and 19s game Corey has played for Leeds and championed him throughout I am chuffed to bits for him. Hope he goes well.

It's to be hoped that he's given the best opportunity to do well, starting with selecting 4 props.

I rated Diskin, good player. Not flash but just very solid in all aspects.

If we do play Corey as others have said I would get some beef around him.

This game will be like New yearz Eve after a bad year .kick out the old and ring in the new. Just turn up and watch the game relaxed irrespective of the result and go for a pint afterwards.

Will be nice to give JJB and Ablett good send off at the end too.

Must admit it was weird last week going to the game without all the tension!

It made a refreshing change although seeing so many empty seats in the north stand was a stark reminder to how far we've fallen.

Could that be down to it not being open at the start of the year and people not bothering to swap from the Southstand?

I don't know how it worked with the season tickets for those two stands being an Eastern stand dweller.

Merrin has a broken rib so may not play the game on Friday.

I was in the N stand for years but now have the best seat in the ground in the S stand. Wouldn't swap it for anything.

There really is no need to risk further injury in this game. I know they have loads of time in pre-season but this one is vitally important and we need as many able to train effectively as possibly from day one (we know T Briscoe is out of that).

Give someone else a chance.

I think Dwyer may have done it to him in a tackle from what ive seen on SM.

Personally I'd say not until he's had a full pre-season into him. The lad is good going forward but he'll get found out in D against men unless he bends his back (as McD would say). I think Trout is physically closer - or Mustapha who has been playing 13 I think for Thunder, interestingly.

You should have seen how he ripped into an even bigger Aussie schoolboys pack with the rest of the England pack mate.
Personally id start getting him Trout , Muzzy & Corey Johnson involved with the first Team asap maybe not ready to be there week in week out but rotating them at least.

WE have an absolutely cracking pack developing, which is what makes me happiest.

What's the problem with Holroyd?

I've seen Walters get swatted off a few times in games this year, I think he'd struggle with upper body strength at the moment playing against men.

When he fills out he could be a full England international, he has bags of potential.

Holroyd has been struggling with a persistent foot injury most of this year unfortunately, just as he was getting his first team shot. I'd expect to see him make an impact in 2020, another lad with bags of potential.

I really think one or two youngsters will stake a claim for first team this pre-season.

I'm honestly confused as to who we can and can't pick with all the dual reg malarkey going on.

I'd go with Ava and Peteru to start and Oledzki and Cuthbertson on the bench for this one I think. We deffo need 4 props.

We have quite a few players carrying injuries now.
