I'd rather see broadbent given an opportunity in his natural position. Teams on a hiding to nothing with that half combination behind a pack that will struggle.

To be fair Seth he was playing at 6 before Covid.

Marty do you see Broadbent as a potential 6? Out and out centre for me but he does have decent hands.

I see him as a centre but club clearly want to change him into a 6 so they cant see him as a centre. Hes a good footballer.

Tindall is like the wing version of Dwyer. Like a headless chicken.

This for me is negligent, not developing players. Especially in the context. I'd not be pointing the finger at any of them after that half, they've been hung out to dry.

Difficult for the kids but a great learning experience. This is the benchmark lads. This is the standard you have to reach.

You cant be picking out individuals for criticism here. McClelland has got no platform playing as pretty much a lone half and saints are flying out and hitting everything.

Alex Sutcliffe has been impressive as has Donaldson, not sure theirs too much you can take out of these games ither than the younger players will learn from playing against the best.

Tindall doesn’t look quite as ready as I thought he was, that interception attempt was ridiculous and he quite rightly got a rollocking from Mclelland

Just remarking on the couple of comments re tindall and McClelland

Yeah this games a dead rubber, and is literally just ticking a box, in that fixture fulfilled.

Its a bloody good effort this. Kids are giving their all and this wont do them any harm at all.

Saints have jacked it in but were sticking to a difficult task really well.

The kids can take great heart from the 22 mins after the break. We are going to get undone by a team who are top of the table and have most of their stars playing, what marks them out for the rest of the game is attitude, not ability.

How good has Mclelland been playing with novice 6 at this level behind a beaten pack I would love to see him play behind a dominant pack with a recognised half back.

Walters defence much better tonight and a great pass for Tindall's try. Hes a terrific prospect.
